Paying Your Covered California Premiums
Covered California launched a Web page Thursday giving customers easy access for making their first monthly premium payment.
Multitudes of California residents signed up for Covered California health insurance plans from October through the enrollment deadline of Dec. 23. Coverage took effect on January 1st. Once enrolling for coverage, consumers have to pay their premiums before the deadline on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.
Many of the insurance companies contracting with Covered California indicated they are willing to push back that deadline for their clients. Customers can contact their insurance company to confirm when their payment is due.
