Authors of a report from the Commonwealth Fund credits the Affordable Care Act and Obama’s healthcare reforms with 20 million enrollments as of the first of May. An estimated 7.8 million of that are people under 26, many of whom are covered as dependents on their parents’ plans. Moreover, for expansion to remain stable, the report encourages that healthcare costs will need to remain low.
