The state of Oregon began the year with a mission to bring its residents an easier way to obtain health care. They created their own statewide website that would potentially help people get Obamacare, health, medical, and all types of insurances, as well as save the state money by managing the patients themselves. With expectations similar to those of Obamacare, the site had difficulties. 6 months and millions of dollars later, Oregon has decided to join the federal Healthcare.gov site along with the majority of the country.
